Privacy at ReworkCV

This page is a convenient summary, not a replacement for the full Privacy Policy. If the two pages differ, the Privacy Policy provides the detailed description of our practices.
Information the app handles
- Account details received from the sign-in provider to authenticate and secure you.
- CV information such as file metadata, extracted text, formatting findings, analysis results, improvement instructions, and generated revisions.
- Optional job descriptions, target roles, industries, and instructions you provide.
- Mock-interview settings, questions, transcripts, delivery measurements, scores, and coaching reports.
- Credit-purchase and billing records, including the bundle, transaction value, credits issued, and payment-processor references. ReworkCV does not receive your complete card number.
- Limited service, security, diagnostic, and product-usage information needed to operate and improve the application.
Where information is stored
- CV files are parsed in your browser. Your browser can retain document text, results, preferences, progress history, diagnostics, and an encrypted, time-limited file cache.
- Your authoritative account and credit balance are stored on ReworkCV's account systems. A local credit value may be cached on your device for display and continuity.
- Authenticated interview sessions and reports are stored against your account for up to 30 days. Minimised interview product events are marked to expire after 90 days.
- Essential cookies and browser storage support authentication, security, preferences, document continuity, and paid-feature access. ReworkCV does not currently use advertising trackers.
AI and interview audio
- When you request an AI feature, the information needed for that feature is sent to our server and an AI and speech-processing provider. Under the provider's current API data terms, submitted content is not used to train general models unless the API account holder explicitly opts in.
- Voice answers are sent for transcription. ReworkCV does not save raw answer audio in your interview history; the resulting transcript and coaching information may be retained with the interview session.
- Scores and recommendations are automated, advisory assessments. ReworkCV does not make hiring decisions or decisions that determine your access to employment.
Service providers
- An authentication provider supports secure sign-in and account access.
- An AI and speech-processing provider handles the information needed for requested analysis, interview, and transcription features.
- A payment provider processes checkout, payment details, and payment events.
- Hosting, database, and email providers help operate and support the service.
How long information is kept
- Interview sessions and transcripts: up to 30 days unless deleted sooner.
- Minimised interview product events: marked to expire after 90 days.
- Browser information: until it expires, you clear it, or you use an available in-app reset action.
- Account and purchase records: while needed to provide the service and afterwards only as needed for security, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, or other legal duties.
