Please read these terms before using paid features. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Questions can be sent to support@reworkcv.com.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, uploading a CV, using a feature, or purchasing credits, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. A purchase is also subject to the price, credit quantity, and information shown immediately before checkout.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, use the service only with permission from a parent or guardian.
• A third-party sign-in provider is the current authentication method.
• You are responsible for protecting the external account and device used to access ReworkCV and for activity carried out through your account.
• Information supplied during account use and checkout must be accurate.

3. Your content and permissions

• You retain ownership of CVs, job descriptions, answers, and other materials you submit.
• You give ReworkCV a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, parse, transform, and display that content only as needed to operate requested features, secure the service, and meet the obligations described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
• You confirm that you have the right to process submitted content and will not upload unlawful, malicious, infringing, or unauthorised confidential material.
• Remove unnecessary sensitive or third-party personal information before upload. Do not upload information you are not authorised to share with the providers identified in the Privacy Policy.

4. How the service works

• Quick rule-based CV analysis is currently free and does not consume credits.
• PDF and DOCX files are parsed in the browser, with supported local caching and history.
• Requested AI analysis, CV improvement, and mock-interview features send relevant content to ReworkCV's server and its contracted AI and speech-processing provider.
• Paid features deduct the credit amount displayed before the operation or interview begins. An adaptive voice follow-up uses an additional transcription credit only when it occurs.
• One-time credit purchases are processed through a secure payment provider.

5. AI outputs and employment decisions

• ReworkCV provides automated drafting, analysis, scoring, and coaching assistance. It does not provide legal advice, recruitment representation, or a guarantee of an interview or job offer.
• AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable, or similar to content produced for another user. You must review and verify facts, dates, metrics, links, and wording before using an output.
• ReworkCV does not submit applications or make hiring decisions. Scores are advisory and should not be treated as a recruiter's or employer's decision.
• Do not use generated text to misrepresent experience, qualifications, or achievements.

6. Credits, pricing, and deductions

• Credits are purchased in one-time bundles and form one shared balance for eligible AI CV and mock-interview features. They are not separate allowances for each feature.
• Credit bundles are one-time purchases. They are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically.
• Credits are added only after the secure payment provider confirms that payment is paid. A checkout return page or pending payment is not treated as payment confirmation.
• Credits do not expire while the account and credit service remain available. ReworkCV will not reduce already-purchased credits merely because future package prices or feature costs change.
• Current feature costs and planned interview base costs are displayed before use. Voice interviews can use additional credits for adaptive follow-up transcription, as explained before the interview starts.
• If a deduction is duplicated or a paid operation fails before the requested service is supplied, contact support so the transaction can be investigated and corrected.

7. Cancellation and refund policy

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, credit purchases are final. ReworkCV does not offer discretionary or change-of-mind refunds for purchased or unused credits. Credits do not expire while the account and credit service remain available, so unused credits can be used later.

After payment is confirmed, ReworkCV begins supplying the purchased credit service without waiting for any cancellation period that might otherwise apply. Where legally required, the checkout asks for the consumer's express request and acknowledgement before this supply can begin. Closing an account, deciding not to use the service, or leaving credits unused does not by itself create a contractual right to a refund.

This policy does not exclude any cancellation right or remedy that applicable law does not allow ReworkCV to exclude. Duplicate payments, missing credits, faulty or misdescribed paid features, and services not supplied with reasonable care and skill will be investigated and corrected or remedied as required by law. 8. Availability and service changes

ReworkCV may make proportionate technical, security, legal, provider, or product changes. Experimental features may be changed or withdrawn. Where a material change adversely affects paid rights or unused purchased credits, ReworkCV will give reasonable notice where practicable and provide any remedy required by law. Maintenance, provider outages, or urgent security work may occasionally interrupt access without advance notice.

9. Acceptable use

• Do not attack, disrupt, overload, probe, or test the service without permission.
• Do not bypass access controls, credit deductions, rate limits, or security measures.
• Do not upload malware, unlawful content, infringing material, or personal information you have no right to process.
• Do not resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the service except where law permits.

10. Intellectual property and generated output

• ReworkCV retains rights in its software, interface, brand, prompts, evaluation methods, and product content, excluding user-submitted materials and third-party property.
• As between you and ReworkCV, and to the extent permitted by law, you may use, edit, and download output generated for you for personal and professional purposes.
• AI output may not be unique, and these Terms do not assign rights that ReworkCV or its AI provider does not legally own.

11. Suspension, account closure, and unused credits

ReworkCV may suspend or restrict an account where it reasonably believes there is a serious Terms violation, fraud, non-payment, security risk, unlawful activity, or risk to users or providers. Notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue will be given where reasonably possible. Suspension does not remove statutory rights concerning unused paid credits.

You may request account closure through support@reworkcv.com. Before closing an account, download anything you wish to retain. Some purchase, security, or dispute records may be kept where the Privacy Policy explains a lawful need.

12. Service standard, consumer rights, and liability

ReworkCV will provide paid services with reasonable care and skill. It does not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect document parsing, error-free AI output, compatibility with every ATS, or a particular hiring outcome. These limitations do not remove obligations that form part of the contract or rights that consumer law does not allow ReworkCV to exclude.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of applicable statutory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. ReworkCV is responsible for loss that is a reasonably foreseeable result of its breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law. It is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate user content, failure to review generated output, unauthorised account access outside its reasonable control, or an employer's independent decision.

13. Support and complaints

Send billing, service, or legal complaints to support@reworkcv.com with enough information to locate the account or transaction. ReworkCV will acknowledge and investigate the complaint within a reasonable time. This process does not prevent you from using any statutory dispute or enforcement route available to you.

14. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated for legal, security, technical, or product reasons. Material changes will receive reasonable in-product or email notice where appropriate. Changes will not retrospectively remove already-accrued statutory rights or reduce an existing purchased credit balance. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance of the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and contact support about any unused paid balance.
